Anthony and Kate share an intimate moment in the gazebo.

While Lady Danbury watches over them, Kate and Anthony try their best to avoid each other.

When her mother says the name of the Queen, Eloise opens the window because she feels that the room is stuffy. She pulls Penelope aside and informs her that she chose to come out as Whistledown and tell a falsehood.

The Bridgeton ball starts, but nobody shows up.

Kate rides out on her horse the following morning because she feels bad; Anthony follows her and witnesses her falling off and hitting her head.
