April tells Beth that Leo decided to get the surgery for his brain tumor.

Dominic sits on his couch sulking about his breakup with April, he talks to his roommate about it.

Brenna and her grandmothers, Emma & Lynn, look for Christmas decorations; Brenna is hit on by a cashier but she nicely rebuff him and Lynn who tries gloat her into staying to flirt the him help of Em.

Brenna looks at old Christmas pictures, she begins to cry.

Leo convinces April to act like kids with him and forget their stresses, they do a montage of "childish" activities in the children's playroom of the hospital.

Leo shaves April’s head for her then shaves his his own head too; Leo & April make fun of their hair cuts.

After their talk about not wanting stay goodbye before Leo's surgery, April & Leo simply hug; April walks down back to her room; Leo stands in his room in a moment of reverie.

April has Christmas with her family when her mom called to wish her Merry Christmas; April to the window to see her mom outside with a tree; April & Brenna give out candy canes; Leo goes into surgery.
