Opening montage.

Max remembers being at the mall with Eve, who is stared at by an older guy.

Wayne offers to get Eve into the theatre for free; Eve is hit on by an older guy (Max).

Max comes by Eve's house to pick her up and is chased off by her mother.

Eve and Carrie show up at the club to meet Max, who proposes that Eve make a music video.

Eve brings her own sleeping bag and makes it clear that she's unwilling to sleep with Max on the trip to AC; He drops her and takes the $200.

Wayne picks Eve up at the bus stop and tries to convince her to run away with him.

End montage, Wade and his father are arrested for Eve's death.

Opening montage.

Wayne and Carrie drop off Eve at her house. They both tell Eve that it’s a bad idea to go with Max to Atlantic City.

Closing scene: Wade and his father are arrested for Eve's death, Mark shakes hands with Sam and arrives at the crime scene - a lovers' corner, where he sees Eve smiling to him by the lakeside.
