Opening; Two men enter a boardroom; Jay fires a board member then starts hallucinating.

Jay runs into Amelia in the hallway in the hospital; He then hallucinates sand under his feet.

Jay’s son, Tommy pushes his wheelchair down the hallway; Jay tells him he’s cutting him off financially. Jay hallucinates a woman on the beach.

Shane walks into Jay's house to pick him up.

Jay visits Amelia at her house after her daughter dies to express his sympathy; he offers to help financially and gives her a butterfly mobile as a gift.

At the end, Tommy takes his son to the shore, his mom is there; He flashes back to when they were younger. Lilly comes home from work to find her mom asleep on her couch.
