Madison reveals to Carter why her parents kicked her out of the house then Madison asks her about Lori and Carter tells her about the letters from Lori.

Elizabeth & David cook when Grant & Joan arrive; Grant asks Joan to stay, Elizabeth backs him up; Carter & Madison arrive at an apartment.

Carter tells Madison how she feels her "new" family then Madison tells her she's burying herself from her past and Carter asks her to leave unknowingly Taylor listens in on them from the room divide.

Max arrives to pick up Madison, he explains his reasons for keep this secret to Taylor; Carter walks Madison out, they makeup; Elizabeth talks to David in the kitchen; Grant checks on his cake.
