Callie tries to talk to Addie about George, but Addie is distracted. She tells Callie that she aborted Mark's baby last year.

Cristina tries to get Burke to talk to her by withholding his food. He calls a nurse to rescue him. Alex and Addie are awkward with each other. She apologizes for almost kissing him.

Bailey & the Chief give George's family bad news.

Burke tells Derek (and Cristina) that he hasn't had any tremors. The O'Malleys are with George's dad as he dies. The other interns and Callie wait for George. Izzie and Bailey talk.

End of the episode. Alex and Addie kiss at Joe's. Derek finds the ear plugs that Mere left for him. They cuddle.
