Opening of episode, Meredith & Derek at the construction site of the house they're building, waiting for adoption case worker to arrive; Owen pulls Derek aside about a problem with the trial.

Sloan lets Avery know that he'll back away and let him "have" Lexie; in essence, giving his blessing; Cristina pulls Owen away to tell him she's pregnant.

The sole survivor is brought in--a little girl; Lexie checks on the waiting room is full of mourning family members; they decide to stay for the little girl who was brought in--unaccompanied.

Teddy tells Henry she loves him; Sloan lets go of Lexie & tells her to walk away; then Avery gives congrats to April for making chief resident

Owen tells Cristina to get out of their apartment; Ben tells Bailey he wants to meet her son; Cristina & Meredith fill each other in on their days; Lucy asks Alex to tell her not to go to Africa; Meredith holds Zola as she tries to get hold of Derek; Derek camps out in their partially completed house.
