Opening scene, Joan is sitting on a bench in the park watching strangers. Plays again when Joan is talking to, and walking away from God as a little girl.

Breakfast. Joan made a new lamp for Will out of a grater.

Luke & Grace are kissing behind the wall of a patio eating area.

Luke & Grace are kissing behind the wall of the patio again; Grace is worried about a security guard seeing them.

Joan and co. walk through the hallway discussing Physics class.

Grace climbs up a drain pipe to come through Joan's bedroom window.

Montage of each member of the Girardi family and what they were doing at night as they dealt with their separate problems, through Will getting the morning paper.

Joan has just given her break-up speech to God, and he's walking away.

Opening scene: Joan sitting on a bench in the park and then again when God (as a little girl) visits Joan in the park.
