(0:04) Intro, Monk is brushing his teeth near the mirror and getting ready as the opening titles run.

(0:15) Monk puts the pins back to cardboard exactly like they were, while the disgruntled employers look.

(0:17) Monk “reads” the room from where the assassin shot the Mayor’s bodyguard; (0:50); (0:59).

(0:22) Monk drops his key ring into the casket at a funeral on the slain bodyguard. (repeats) (1:18) End credits pt. 3

(0:39) Walking home and Adrian goes over the crime photos from the killing of his wife in his apartment.

(0:45) Monk walks down a San Francisco street, counting parking meters, and is chased by mysterious car.

(0:48) Monk questions Gavin about his whereabouts the past few weeks.

(0:51) SWAT raids an apartment and detectives question the guy in the wheelchair.

(0:57) Monk goes back to the garage, looking for clues, which triggers a poignant recollection of Trudy’s fate.

(1:01) Adrian puts everybody into the places they've been during the assassination; [flashback] Adrian tells what happened before. (repeats) (1:17) End credits pt. 2

(1:08) Adrian and Sharona venture down into the sewers of San Francisco to catch the killer.

(1:10) After Monk hears Sharona scream in the sewer and Disher notices that Monk has got his gun.
