After being hit by a car, Haley is in the hospital. Nathan asks her to give him a sign that everything is okay.

In Lucas's alternate reality, Nathan goes to the Music store and breaks the Haley James Vinyl on the counter.

Lucas lying unconscious in the hospital, Peyton goes to the record shop and Max gives her the vinyl of this song; (repeats) at the end of the episode, Lucas wakes up.
