The girls are in Ezra's apartment with Aria for the first time.

The girls arrive at the masquerade & they confirm their plans; Caleb surprises Hanna & tells her that Mona helped him; Spencer tells Mona that she's a great friend to Hanna & Mona tells her that she saw Ali in Brookhaven a week before she disappeared; Spencer figures out that Ali was spying on -A.

Ezra arrives at the masquerade ball & tells Aria he can't stay away from her; Caleb & Hanna slow dance.

Aria & Ezra have their first dance together as a couple; Ezra takes off their masks & they kiss in the middle of the dance floor; Emily keeps watch on the time & who's arriving before Paige arrives to see her.

Paige tells Emily that she should've fought for her & that she'd be there for her as a friend.

Hanna spots someone in a Black Swan dress, who acknowledges Jenna, arriving to the masquerade.

When Emily looks at Hanna's phone and says that it's set to record every time it's turned on.

Aria, Emily & Hanna are spying on Lucas, Jenna & the mystery Black Swan woman.

End of the episode: The girls arrive at Maya's house to find out that a body, possibly Maya's, has been found. Emily sobs as her friends hug her.

Ezra & Aria dance & kiss; Paige meets up with Emily.
