Montage as Maddie detoxes; (voice over) Maddie explains both the highs and lows of the drugs existing her system as she detoxes.

Maddie reads in the basement when Wes comes down to due his laundry, she instead convinces him to stink out with her for the night to retrieve nail polish.

Maddie & Wes discuss their pasts then decide to stick to less angst topics so Maddie tells him about her dream to be a mortician and her father’s funereal when come the liquor section of the store. 

End montage (plays throughout the final two minutes).
