The End - Season 1, Episode 2: Soundtracks

Opening scene. Kate has a vivid dream involving paddle-boarding, menstruation and sharks. She wakes in a sweat to discover she's started bleeding heavily in her sleep.

Kate has just dropped Persephone at Edie's following an incident at school involving tampons and the school pool. She continues to listen to Beth's CD while driving past the turn-off to work.

Kate attends Beth's funeral party where bubble blowers and fairy light crowns are the order of the day. Her friends dance and sing to this song as a photo montage is projected on the wall.

Jasper abandons Oberon to be with Mark, unaware that Oberon needs him now more than ever. Kate searches for a non-alcoholic drink at the funeral and runs into Beth's father.

Oberon finds himself staggering through the streets of Surfers Paradise. As the illicit drugs he's taken begin to take effect he realises he needs helps and tries to phone his mother and sister.

The illicit drugs that Pamela and Edie have confiscated from Oberon (and swallowed) begin to take effect, with much more pleasant reactions than Oberon experienced. Beth's funeral party continues.
