Mel is running then spots Jack fishing at the lake. She goes up to talk to him.

Doc and Muriel are seated, waiting for the string quartet to start. The quartet begins to play.

Everyone is having a good time at the Community Picnic. The Promised begins to perform on-stage.

The band continues to play after Hope makes an announcement. Doc asks Hope to practice the egg relay. Hope runs into Jo Ellen. Connie asks Preacher about an extra key to the bakery truck.

Mel arrives at the Picnic and she notices people are looking at her. Jack encourages Ricky to go up and talk to Lizzie.

Mel takes over the donation table for Hope and meets Jamie.

Ricky offers to help Lizzie in the bakery truck. Lizzie sidle up to Brady at a game booth. He wins her a stuffed pony.

The Virgin River community competes in an egg relay race. Hope announces the winning team.

Stacie and Mel talk about the last time they saw each other. Doc sits in the kitchen and ignores a call. Jack visits Charmaine.
