Tom Hagen leaves the store and is accosted by Virgil Sollozzo outside.

The Godfather lies 'dying' in the street after being shot. Fredo leans over him screaming.

The Don is shot, and Michael and Kaye come out of the movies where they saw The Bells of St. Marys.

Michael and Kaye walk down the street and read about Don Corleone being shot, and run over to call Sonny at home.
