Hope talks about the tradition of writing letters to dead loved ones; Raf's resurrected girlfriend, Cassie, walks into the school.

Cassie tells Raf the still has work to do on himself and that she forgives him for his part in her death then asks for a moment alone.

Hope goes into The Necomancer's mind, where he's taken her to a familiar bar in New Orleans.

Hope writes a letter to her father; montage of people in the graveyard; Raf asks Alaric for help to become a better man; Kaleb watches over MG; Hope apologizes to Raf for not having his back.

Hope goes back to The Necromancer's mind and searches for his presence.

A woman walks the streets towards Salvatore School; people write letters to their loved ones; Hope sketches a picture of the Necromancer; Raf identifies the woman as Cassie.

While in his mind, The Necromancer takes Hope to a Day of the Dead celebration.
