(Lawrence, Kansas - Two weeks ago) Landon arrives for another day at a cafe where he introduces himself to his mother.

(Indianapolis, Indiana) Alaric and Hope make small talk as they continue on their adventure to find Landon.

Hope comforts Landon, she tells him that he's one of the strongest people she knows; Landon tells how he wrote letters to her then they kiss.

Alaric tells Landon that he's taking him home, back to the Salvatore school; Hope stops by Landon's new room.
