- Lost Souls2Pac
Opening scene with corrupt cops Divinci (Jim Belushi) and Rodriguez (2Pac) in a motel room planning their drug dealer scam. The haunting track sets the dark tone as Rodriguez expresses anxiety while Divinci fantasizes about escaping to Hawaii. The soulful, melancholic song perfectly captures their spiritual emptiness and foreshadows their doomed fate. This is literally about 'lost souls' - two cops who've sold their souls for money.
- Keep Your Eyes OpenO.F.T.B
Plays during a tense scene after the cops realize they've killed an undercover DEA agent. The paranoid, aggressive track emphasizes the need for vigilance as they scramble to cover their tracks. The song's message about staying alert in dangerous situations perfectly matches their panic as they're now being hunted by federal agents and need to stay sharp to survive.
- Starin' Through My Rear View2Pac
The climactic ending as Divinci escapes in a getaway car after killing Rodriguez and the witness. 2Pac's introspective track about looking back at life's choices while moving forward fits perfectly as Divinci literally stares through his rearview mirror, leaving destruction behind. The song's themes of survival, paranoia, and reflecting on past mistakes mirror Divinci's situation as he flees his former life.
