(1:06) Robert meets Melanie for the first time on a blind date at an Italian restaurant.

(1:30) Armstrong interviews Arthur Leigh Allen's sister-in-law.

(1:32) Armstrong, Toschi, and the Santa Rosa Police Department arrive at the trailer park to serve a search warrant on Arthur Leigh Allen’s residence.

(1:39) Robert meets Paul’s replacement. Golden Gate bridge. Armstrong tells Toschi of transfer request. Robert looks at his scrapbook of Zodiac newspaper clippings.

(1:42) Robert visits Paul on his houseboat to discuss writing a book about The Zodiac.

(1:44) Paul gets angry at Robert. Robert arrives home with cryptology books borrowed from library. Toschi returns to the corner of Washington and Cherry Sts.

(2:02) Robert phones Wallace to request a sample of Rick Marshall’s handwriting; Melanie is angry at Robert for appearing on television.

(2:05) Robert speaks with Toschi’s wife on the phone.

(2:08) One of Graysmith's sons asks him about Zodiac coded letter. Avery sees Graysmith interviewed on TV.

(2:20) Graysmith, outside the Vallejo Police Department in the rain, pleads with Jack Mulanax to let him in; He goes to Toschi's house to share information about the investigation.

(2:25) Robert and Toschi discuss Zodiac suspect Arthur Leigh Allen in an all-night diner.

(2:28) Robert and Toschi talk; Toschi leaves the diner. Graysmith parks car in front of Ace Hardware Store where Arthur Leigh Allen works.

(2:30) At the store as Robert stares at Arthur Leigh Allen; Graysmith walks away.

First song on the night of July 4, 1969 in Vallejo, CA. Darlene picks up Mike at his driveway.

Darlene parks the car at a lovers’ lane and begins flirting with Mike. A group of teenagers set off fireworks at the lane, startling Darlene and Mike.

Mike and Darlene notices the car from the fast food driveway earlier. The car then drives away but returns shortly after. A man gets out of the car with a flashlight and shoots Mike and Darlene multiple times.

A couple reads the newspaper about the Zodiac letters and attempts to decipher the letter.

Song as law student Bryan Hartnell drives his girlfriend, Cecelia Shepard, to Lake Berryessa in Napa County.

David Toschi and Bill Armstrong drives to the crime scene.

At a bar. Avery makes fun of Graysmith for a bit before asking him about the drink.

Toschi talks to his partner, Armstrong, over the phone about one of the Zodiac letters.

Kathleen Johns Is driving her car on the highway with her baby when a man beeps his car for her to pull over.
