Carter comforts Taylor about her breakup with Max outside of David & Elizabeth's room as they fight inside; Elizabeth tells David she could never forever him.
Grant tells David that he can't go to the party because he's out grown his suit and that reminded David that months before so David decides he and Grant have a father-son day and go shopping.
Crash checks Max's engine at his uncle's car shop when Max tells him about his troubles so Crash offers him and place to stay and a job at the garbage which Max declines; Crash offers Max a ride home.
Carter finds Elizabeth in her room crying, Elizabeth confesses she doesn't think she can go through with going to the party then Carter comforts her and they decide to go shopping.
Crash tells Carter that he'll leave her alone if that's what she wants; Elizabeth questions Max about his relationship with Crash and he tells her need to forgive Crash and no harpy on what he did.
Grant asks David about his T.A. as shop when they run into Elizabeth; David tells Elizabeth that Grant needs some reassurance about them; Taylor & Carter tells Elizabeth & David about Lori's calls.
The Wilson's arrive at the Joan & Buddy's anniversary party; Taylor finds a waiter and persuades him into giving her champagne; Joan come and tells Taylor it's time for the family portrait.
Joan confronts Elizabeth about her secret and offers advice; Carter talks to Max then they head off to find Taylor; Taylor plays champagne-pong with the wait-staff when Carter & Max find her.
Grant wants to leave the party then Joan appears and sends him off to play with the go-carts; Joan thanks David for coming after revealing she knows about the separation between him and Elizabeth.
Taylor & Max continue to talk and reveal to Max that she doesn't want to get back into a relationship with him; Taylor goes back inside the country club.
Taylor confronts Carter about interfering in her and Max's relationship; Taylor tries to order a drink when the rest of the Wilson family find her drunk.
Carter & Taylor talk in Taylor's room, Taylor apologizes to Carter for they way she's been acting then Carter confesses to Taylor about how angry she is at Lori, Taylor comforts her.
David & Elizabeth tell the kids that their separating then Taylor reminds them about Elizabeth's parents anniversary party and they decide not to tell them about it; Carter gets a call from Lori.
