On a spacewalk to clear Gordo's mind, Ed is forced to tackle Gordo to the ground when the latter begins hallucinating ants in his suit and attempts to remove his helmet.

Ed confirms to Danielle that, when he radios to NASA the next morning and tells them Gordo is mentally unfit to stay on the moon, Gordo will be grounded for life and his career over.
