(Dec 1969, Oakland, CA) People party and listen as The Rolling Stones play at The Altamont Free Concert when a man is stabbed. (NY, News of The Week Magazine) Nora waits for her meeting with Finn.

Doug and Patti have sex in the infirmary of the News of the Week Magazine.

Patti listens to music at her desk as she works, everyone in the office begins to jam along; Finn comes to ask her about music, she comments his music taste and advises him to listen to the band while high then he asks her about the Hells Angel being hired as security for the concert.

Doug waits outside the Guggenheim Museum for Patti when Nora shows up to tell him that Patti can’t come; Patti leaves on a plane to San Francisco.; Lenny reads; Cindy checks her diaphragm.

As they debate on the photo for the freedom concert, Cindy & Nora discuss the story that Cindy gave Nora to read then Ned returns and asks them what picture they choose; Jane sprays her hair when Cindy screams in joy after receiving her period.

Cindy and Patti leave the consciousness meeting, Cindy finds the weeks magazine in the door and finds the picture for the magazine's cover. Cindy and Patti arrive at the bar to meet with the boys.

The boys ask Patti & Cindy where they were earlier that night, Cindy lies to them; Finn lights up the joint in his bathroom; Jane lets down her hair; Cindy takes out her compact to look downstairs.

Patti sits on the edge of her bathtub smoking a joint.
