Ruby (Dell) has been returned to William. When she suffers terrifying fits he "helps" her by cutting Ruby out of the Dell exterior with a large knife. A TV news anchorman reports on a locust plague.

Ruby wakes in the same bed and bedroom as before. William talks to her as he finishes dressing to go out. They discuss what Ruby experienced. The room fills with butterflies.

Hillary begins her first shift as Assistant Manager, proudly displaying her new name tag. She walks past a pianist playing this live on a grand piano. (To Australian readers, think David Jones.)

William comes to pick up Hillary after work, making the other girls insanely jealous.

Ruby finds herself in a closet in the police captain's office. / Hillary breaks her potion bottle then transforms back into Ruby. She spies the Manager trying to rape Tamara behind the bar.
