New Amsterdam reopens as staff and workers return and the hospital continues with repairs; Iggy starts work as the hospital new Psych Director.

The head of surgery, Dr. Baptiste, calls for Dr. Reynold's legendary playlist, but the first song is uncharacteristically heartbreaking.

Dr. Baptiste tells the nurse to play the next song but it is also sad. He wants to know what is wrong with Reynolds, but Reynolds is not saying.

Back in surgery, Dr. Reynold's playlist now has a joyful feel. Baptiste notices the change and congratulates Reynolds; Dr. Wilder turns down Max's job offer; Max meets up with Sharpe on the rooftop.

Dr. Baptiste and Floyd work another surgery together where Baptiste guesses that Floyd has made up with his girlfriend since the nature of his music has changed.
