Max, Isobel and Michael hanging out. Michael brings up the subject of their plans after High School.

Max reads as Liz and Alex arrive followed by Kyle; Kyle tells Liz he got into Michigan; Max finds Isobel listening to her iPod on the bleachers, he tries to convince her to go to class.

Liz takes Max and Isobel’s order, Isobel tells Max she’s going to prom even though she told him she didn’t care about it earlier; Isobel pretends she and Rosa aren’t friends

Rosa plays the jukebox after Isobel pretends they aren’t friends. She bumps into Liz who drops Max’s milkshake. They laugh and dance with Max watching.

Max, Isobel, and Michael take pictures at prom; Max sees Liz arrive with Kyle.

(2008) Max, Michael and Isobel cover up Rosa’s death; (present day) Max tells Liz and Michael tells Isobel they don’t know why Isobel did what she did; Liz tells Max she doesn’t want see him again.
