Opening montage; (Future) Isabelle, Jace & Alec hunt a shapeshifting demon through the city; Jace bumps into Clary who is able to see through his invisibility glamour rune, which surprises him.   

Clary joins Simon at a cafe, she fakes disappointment only to reveal to him her acceptance letter from the Brooklyn Academy of Art; Clary comments on Maureen's crush on Simon. 

Simon, Maureen and Clary talk about Clary's family

Simon and Maureen perform as Clary watches from the audience.

Outside Pandemonium Simon changes; they get paint. 

They finish painting; Jace bumps into Clary; she decides to follow him

Clary follows Jace; Magnus asks Blackwell and Pangborn to leave. Clary sneaks into VIP; a fight breaks out. She kills a demon and flees the club.
