So You Think You Can Dance Music

So You Think You Can Dance season 11 episode 7 soundtrack

Top 20 Perform, 2 Eliminated, 14 songs

The Top 20 dancers perform for a second time, but two contestants are eliminated.

  • Respect (Live February 5, 1971) — Aretha Franklin
Jessica Richens & Nick Garcia perform a West Coast Swing dance choreographed by Benji Schwimmer, the SYTYCD Season 2 winner
  • Work — Iggy Azalea
Bridget Whitman & Emilio Dosal perform a Hip Hop dance choreographed by Luther Brown. The story: she was a nerd, but is now hot, and he wants to be with her now, because apparently he's shallow.
  • Latch (Acoustic) — Sam Smith
(Acoustic) Carly Blaney & Serge Onik perform a Contemporary dance choreographed by Sonya Tayeh.
  • Don't — Ed Sheeran
Emily James & Teddy Coffey perform a Hip Hop dance choreographed by Dave Scott. She wore these crazy leopard-print pants, but the dance was fun and flirty.
  • I've Got Your Number — Nancy Wilson
Malene Ostergaard & Stanley Glover perform a Broadway dance choreographed by Spencer Liff. They were dancing with/around pink telephone cords; interesting piece, but not really Broadway, imo.
  • Work Work — Britney Spears
Jourdan Epstein & Marcquet Hill perform a Jazz dance choreographed by Sean Cheesman. She's an interrogator - apparently Soviet, judging by her costume? She was really more a seductress, though.
  • You Need — Bengsons
Tanisha Belnap & Rudy Abreu perform a Jazz dance choreographed by Sonya Tayeh. Classic Sonya, performed perfectly.
  • Oh Darling — Gossling
Valerie Rockey & Rick Ubeda perform a Contemporary dance choreographed by Travis Wall.
  • Gallo Ciego — Luis Bravo's Forever Tango
Brooklyn Fullmer & Casey Askew perform an Argentine Tango choreographed by Miriam Larici and Leonardo Berrionuevo. The performance was not terribly passionate, but they were gorgeous to look at.
  • New York! New York! — Ethan Freeman & Gregg Edelman & MEN & Michael Bauer & Tim Flavin
Top 20 perform a Broadway dance choreographed by Josh Bergasse -- a REAL Broadway dance, not just a jazz/contemp. dance to Broadway music!!
  • Dibiza (Kick Ass Mix) — Danny Tenaglia
Jacque LeWarne & Zach Everhart perform an African Jazz dance choreographed by Sean Cheesman. They are warrior spirits escaped from a trippy, tie-dyed painting.
  • The Final Game / Take Me Out to the Ball Game — The Natural
Background music to the clip about Cat throwing the first pitch at a Dodgers game.
  • ***Flawless (feat. Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie) — Beyoncé
The dance crew "Syncopated Ladies" tap dances to this song.
  • Doesn't Mean Goodbye — Jon McLaughlin
