Wil tries to comfort Amberle by sharing the fact that he lost his mom the week before and tried everything he could to save her, she then tells him that she's afraid to return to Arborlon. 

Eretria cuts Amberle loose then gives her two options to either stay and fight her to the death or live another day by running away but Amberle refuses to leave Wil and takes Eretria captive.
