It's the song that plays as Captain William Scully's (Don S Davis) ashes are scattered off the stern of a small fishing vessel into the sea (in the episode it is sung in French) 

The song playing during the scattering of ashes. Beyond The Sea was featured in the original edit of the episode (on DVD) and La Mer was used for the remastered version. (On Blu-ray.)
