As they head into the human world - a human city - Lissa and Adrian discuss their Spirit User abilities; Adrian hits on Rose admits that he’s attracted to her then offers her a sip of his whiskey while suggesting dream visits through dream-walking; Rose prepares to clue Dmitri in as listens to Lissa and Adrian's conversation; (continues) [0:11] Lissa and Rose see the outside human world for the first time, Lissa suggest they need different clothing.

At a night club, Lissa and Rose continue to be amazed by the human world and its wonders as the go clubbing during their search for the heretic; Dmitri calls Rose out for not focusing.

Rose manages to get Dmitri to let loose and dance with her; Adrian leaves the private rooms of the club with Lissa and catches sight of Rose and Dmitri dancing intimately together; Rose "danger sense" hits her for Strigoi; Dmitri rushes the group out of the club; Rose looks a Strigoi in the face as run from the club.
