Wynonna investigates when a posse of Revenants go on a killing spree, which she concludes has a darker and more sinister point behind it. Meanwhile, Waverly challenges Henry's motives and sets out to unearth more of his past.

Wynonna complains about Waverly not helping move her boxes. She then flirts with Doc Holliday but is turned down and tells Waverly to have her research ready for the meeting with Dolls.
Doc Holliday reads in his trailer when there's a knock at his door. It's Bethany who tells him that Bobo has another job for him. Bethany suggests they have sex, which Doc agrees with.
At the saloon, Waverly questions Doc on why he's in town. He tells Waverly that he's writing a book, so she offers assistance via back dated copies of the Ghost River Chronicle.
People gather at Shorty's Saloon in his honor. Nicole tries to console Waverly over Shorty's death until Champ arrives. Champ kisses Waverly then tells her that he'll never leave her side again.
Wynonna arrives home to find Doc there. He tells her that she can tell Waverly that she was right and properly introduces himself to Wynonna, then offers her his assistance.
