It's 1995 and 11-year-old hip-hop loving Eddie Huang has just moved with his family from Chinatown in Washington D.C. to suburban Orlando. They quickly discover things are very different there. Orlando doesn't even have a Chinatown -- unless you count the Huang house.

    Eddie dresses in 'hip-hop' fashion in the dressing room of the store then comes out and shows his mother and brothers.

    (Older Eddie's voice over) Eddie listens to music as they drive to their new home in Orlando; (repeats) (Older Eddie's voice over) The Huang family leaves Eddie's school, kids move out way for them.

    Eddie takes off his earphones to find his family jamming and singing along to 'The Sign' on the radio, he asks his dad to turn off the music.

    Jessica favourite song comes on the radio and Louis turns up and the family begin to sing along again, Eddie puts back on his earphones.

    Eddie & Emery scoop out their neighbors as the mover move their things into the house.

    Eddie leaves Walters table after he tells him to go.
